Virginia Convention

1a.He's saying that everyone should have the chance to speak their mind, and be able to argue between eachother on whether it be good or bad and if people agree with their opinion(s) or not.

1b. He speaks to everyone rather than just the British people, and applies his own actions to get his word out to everyone.

2a. Instead of going into war, they just argue about it for years and years as they pass on by.

2b. He doesn't trust them , and finds it to be pointless to just keep talking about the situation, rather than taking action.

3a. That there will be a revolt, and his choice to the fight back.

3b. Sees peace as being just a replacement for war, but there is no peace, so there has to be war.

4a. British want to talk about it and figure it out, but the colonists want to begin a war between eachother to settle it all.

4b. Maybe if they were more developed and had more power it wouldnt be as hard as it seemed.

  1. Bryce - 2a, 3b, 4a, and 4b are not correct.
2a - look at what the question is asking.
    3b - slavery.
4a - colonies have petitioned and Britain has ignored them
4b - look at the question
